Night at the Bombay Roxy

An immersive theatrical production with live music, dinner and drinks at Dishoom Kensington

We’re exceedingly delighted (ecstatic even) to introduce Night at the Bombay Roxy – a brand new, site-specific, immersive theatre production created by the hugely talented young artists at Swamp Studios  that we’ll be hosting at the new Dishoom Kensington later this year.

Imagine… a totally immersive, dark, rich, Indian noir set in Bombay’s glamorous jazz age. A talented ensemble of actors and musicians will transport you to the opening night of the Bombay Roxy – a café and jazz club housed within a former Art Deco cinema in ’40s Bombay, owned by the charismatic but wayward Cyrus Irani.

While the story unfolds around you (accompanied by live music from the swinging jazz band), we’ll furnish you with first-class cocktails and a lavish feast of our best Bombay dishes.

It’s our absolute pleasure to invite you to be part of this one-off and unique experience. And we’re thrilled that it’s taking place in our as-yet-unopened new home in Kensington! We quite literally cannot wait to see, hear and feel Bombay’s jazz age brought to life in the beautiful Art Deco surroundings of the Barkers Building.

Due to your kind support (by buying all the tickets) and many requests from those who missed out on the first batch, we are putting a second release of tickets on sale at 11am on Wednesday 15th November via Make a note if you’re keen!

WHEN: Nightly performances and weekend matinées from 27th November until 14th December 2017 (no performance on Monday 4th December).

WHERE: Dishoom Kensington, The Barkers Building, Derry Street, Kensington, London W8 5SE.

WHAT: An immersive theatre production set in Dishoom Kensington with live music, dinner and drinks.

TICKETS: Tickets are £72pp and include a welcome drink, a choice of two lavish menus (veg and non-veg) and a theatrical adventure! Drinks packages will also be available at an extra charge.

P.S. Dishoom Kensington will then officially open its doors at midday on 15th December
