Our Eid Al-Fitr celebration (also known as an ‘Eid Milan’) will be a brilliant family festival with warmth, joy and togetherness at its heart. You can expect:

LIVE MUSIC
Back-to-back live music from some of the best, brightest, most awesome artists. (Keep an eye on social media for the line-up announcements).

SUPERB STREET FOOD
Tasty (halal) treats from the best in the business, including Mother Clucker, Saltwood Fish Bar, Grill my cheese, Curry On, and a massive Dishoom biryani!

FAMILY ACTIVITIES
Mehndi-wallis (henna artists), face painters and balloon artists will keep all entertained.

ARTS AND CRAFTS
Enjoy an art exhibition from Fouadisms, who’ll also capture your name in beautiful hand-drawn Arabic calligraphy.

DISHOOM TREATS
You’ll be welcomed with Chai, mithai, and Indian soft drinks Thums up and Limca. And we’ll be hand-making fragrant parcels of Meetha Paan (a popular Indian digestive).

It will be an absolutely brilliant day and we are so excited to celebrate with you. All are welcome.

Tickets are £7 (grown-ups) / £4 (kids aged 2-15, anyone younger than 2 doesn’t need a ticket) plus booking fees. Tickets include entry to the event, Dishoom drinks, paan, mithai and all activities. Please note street food is not included in the ticket price and Dishoom can only accept card payments for the Biryani. All food is halal, and this is an alcohol-free event.

For every ticket sold, we will donate £1 to Seeds of Peace, a charity helping teenagers from regions of conflict learn the skills of making peace.

Follow the Facebook page for any updates and news about the line-up. We’ve also loads of pictures from past years and have written some blog posts reflecting on Ramadan and Eid.

In the cafés we’ll be serving a delicious Eid special of Haleem, a slow-cooked dish of pounded lamb, cracked wheat, barley, lentils and rice, infused with aromatic spices, from Sunday 25th June until Sunday 2nd July.

In the meantime, we wish Ramadan Mubarak to you all. May your prayers and fasts be accepted, and may the blessings you receive fill your life with love and happiness.

All lamb and chicken at Dishoom is always sourced from Halal-certified suppliers.
