Every Dishoom starts with a story
Designing our cafés
With every new Dishoom we open, we always imagine an Irani café deeply rooted in a different aspect of Bombay history. We then sit down and write a café story – a founding myth, if you will – that guides each and every detail of that space.
As you will find, no two founding myths are the same, helping us to create a distinct personality for each Dishoom, as unique as it is – or will come to be. Each of our café stories can be found here, for your leisurely exploration. We gently encourage you to delve into them all.
