We are a truly first-class (award-winning!) place to work and we’re humbled to have been voted as #4 Best Company to work for and #1 Best Company in Hospitality and Leisure in the UK's Top 100 Best Companies awards.
Our restaurants are busy, bustling places, full to the brim with Bombay food and culture and a very big-hearted and talented team who will support you from day one.
We care deeply about looking after our team and work hard to make life at Dishoom the best it can be. This is a place where people can learn, grow and develop skills that will stand them in good stead for a lifetime.
Above all, we care about making Dishoom a place where jobs turn into satisfying and long-lasting careers.
We believe that we are all at our happiest and best when we are sharing whole-heartedly of ourselves and contributing to the world to the very best of our abilities. When our hearts are inspired and our minds are engaged, we truly bring together our whole self.
This combination of big heart and applying our minds to be first-class is called Seva.
This is a powerful state with amazing possibilities. It is how we can grow as people and unlock our potential to achieve great things.
Naturally, Seva goes way beyond service. Seva means that we don’t just serve people, we take them in and truly look after them. Guests and team alike.
Every single Dishoom-walla provides over 2600 meals a year to hungry children, just by doing their work.
For every meal served at Dishoom, we donate a meal to a child by way of charities Magic Breakfast and Akshaya Patra, which provide nourishing, free meals to schools in the UK and India.
We’re overjoyed to share that as of January 2020, we’ve donated 13 million meals (and counting!). This means 13 million opportunities for a child, undistracted by hunger, to be ready to learn.
